Two biking communities, Explore Your City On A Bicycle and Kalyetista, shared insights on how all road users can make our roads safer through “Pakikipagkapwa sa Daan” during the Philippine Bicycle Demo and Expo December 2024 Edition held on December 1, 2024.

Organizers have been promoting the growth of a strong bicycle culture, kinder road users, and the “One Bicycle Per Household” policy, according to the groups behind the MakipagKapwa booth.

Visitors to the MakipagKapwa booth were also able to avail visibility reflectors for their own use, and for personal or corporate giveaways.

High-visibility reflective wear and gear are essential for road safety, especially during night rides.

The Philippine Bicycle Demo December 2024 is an outdoor feature demo ride experience for all types of bikes in the Philippines.

Over 50 world-class bicycle brands and over 300 models are on display for cyclists, as well as retailers, to sample and purchase in one open air venue by The Bay.

The event was held at the CCP Open Grounds in Macapagal Boulevard and J.W. Diokno

Boulevard, Pasay City, from November 30 to December 1.

Visitors also had the opportunity to buy bikes and gear at discounts offered during the 2-day event.

Aside from the bike displays, other features of the event include a coffee pavilion, fun race and kiddie race, Pinoy retro bike show, MTB/gravel trails, and other bicycle-centric technology and activities.
