Acer has solidified its position as the leading brand in the Philippine consumer and gaming notebook markets, capturing a significant 35.7% overall market share in 2024, according to data from GfK.
This achievement underscores the brand’s strong foothold in the country, with one in every three laptops sold bearing the Acer name.
The company’s success is attributed to a combination of factors, including its competitive pricing, extensive distribution network, and effective marketing strategies. Specifically, Acer achieved a 34.2% market share in the consumer notebook category and a commanding 40.6% share in the gaming notebook segment.

“These initiatives have built stronger brand equity, resulting in customers recognizing and trusting Acer and its products. For 2025 and beyond, our consumers can only expect the best of what we can offer,” stated Sue Ong-Lim, Acer Philippines Managing Director.
Acer’s strategic partnerships with popular local talents, such as SB19 and G22, have played a crucial role in resonating with the younger demographic. The brand’s focus on the gaming community through its Predator Gaming line and events like the Asia Pacific Predator League has also solidified its leadership in the gaming notebook sector.
Furthermore, Acer’s robust nationwide presence, through its Acer Concept Stores and authorized dealers, has ensured accessibility for consumers across the country. Online availability via the Acer online store, Lazada, and Shopee has further expanded its reach.
