Organizations that prioritize strong human connections while embracing technological advancements are setting the standard for workplace excellence, according to Antoniette Mendoza-Talosig, Managing Partner at Great Place To Work Philippines.

She made the announcement at the Best Workplaces awards ceremony held recently.

The event recognized 50 organizations in the Philippines that have successfully balanced innovation with healthy workplace cultures.

“Three major forces are changing our workplaces faster than ever: technological advancements and AI integration, Gen Z employees redefining work expectations, and economic challenges impacting job security,” Mendoza-Talosig said.

She noted that recent data from Great Place To Work Philippines, based on surveys of over 750,000 employees, indicates a decline in positive workplace experiences.

“While providing resources and equipment is essential, today’s professionals also need environments where they can speak openly and find meaning in their work, along with clarity of expectations from leaders across organizations. These remain paramount to the success of the company as a whole,” Mendoza-Talosig explained.

The awards ceremony honored organizations across three categories based on workforce size. Synchrony Global Services Philippines, Inc., [24]7.ai Philippines, and Accenture led the large company category. DHL Express, Hilton, and Cisco secured top spots in the medium category. Kollab topped the small company category for the second consecutive year, with EXCA Education Migration and Visa Services and I’M Hotel also receiving recognition.

According to Great Place to Work, the recognized workplaces are defined by their ability to foster environments where change is embraced collectively by employees at all levels. 93% of employees in these organizations report adapting quickly to change, and 96% say they look forward to work and go the extra mile.

“The Best Workplaces remind us that change doesn’t just happen through programs and policies—it happens in people,” Mendoza-Talosig said.

She emphasized that maintaining human connection remains the foundation for sustainable success in an era of unprecedented change.
