Novare expands, acquires Appistoki to boost global reach

Leading IT service provider Novare, formerly Micro-D International (MDI) Inc. is expanding its software suite to include Salesforce as it acquires its Singapore peer, Appistoki.

The acquisition also expands the company’s reach in the Asia and Europe, which Novare Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Victor Silvino said realizes the company’s vision of being “one of the foremost digital transformation enablers in empowering human potential and accelerating success for enterprises.”

“So, happy to say that this is no longer my dream since the announcement was made that we are acquiring Appistoki,” said Silvino during the company’s announcement of the Appistoki acquisition in mid-March.

The acquisition was announced together with the company’s rebranding to Novare from MDI Novare.

“Our name, Novare, comes from the Latin word meaning ‘to make new.’ That’s precisely what this moment represents — a fresh start, a clearer purpose and a future driven by innovation,” Silvino said.

The Appistoki acquisition, a Salesforce Summit Partner, complements Novare’s customer experience digital solutions pillar, noted Silvino.

It also expands Novare’s presence across Singapore, India, Indonesia, Ireland and the Philippines, positioning it as a leader in AI-driven digital transformation.

“Salesforce has long been a market leader, consistently recognized in the Gartner Magic Quadrant. In the past six months, Salesforce has aggressively launched a slew of AI innovations,” said Abhijeet Kulkarni, Appistoki CEO.

“As a leading Salesforce partner, we have been at the forefront of this evolution — analyzing innovations, engaging with customers and building AI-powered solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem,” he added.

The acquisition reinforces Novare’s expertise in data analytics, network security, cloud solutions, edge computing, and IT infrastructure.

“Among these five, the top three revenue earners for last year is really API (application programing interface) development, followed by cloud, and followed by network security,” said Silvino, noting that Novare experienced a “tremendous” 30 percent growth last year as far as servicing government agencies in the Philippines.

A strong service provider for the Philippine banking industry, Novare meanwhile posted a 72 percent growth in its financial services-related business, according to Silvino.

“We are really tracking well in the government and the banking and financial services,” he said.

Kulkarni meanwhile said Appistoki joins the Novare family “as a specialist sales for Salesforce,” bringing complementary skills to the services the group provides.

“We bring complementary skills to the table. Every initiative that Novare has, we have something complementary to offer. So, if you imagine, the marriage is going to help us take customer experience many many notches higher. Notches that are going to help us mind our customers better, give them better solutions and actually grow our business,” he said.

As a Saleforce consulting company, Appistoki has a customer success score (CSS) of close to 5, which means that apart from Salesforce itself, clients also recommend the company to peers.

“Our quality delivery means that Salesforce recommends us to customers. Our customers recommend us to other customers. And that really has been our secret sauce,” Kulkarni said.

“Salesforce is one of the most recognizable brands globally. And what we have done is we’ve built a very cross cloud expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem. So we build expertise around multiple products. And that has actually helped us gain a leadership position in the Salesforce consulting world in ASEAN. So I would like to proudly say that for the past three years, Appistoki has been the leading partner in the Salesforce ecosystem in ASEAN,” he added.

With Saleforce introducing a slate AI innovation, Appistoki is in a strong position to contribute to the Novare mission, according to Kulkarni.

“So what really excites me is that along with AI and the innovations, we are really poised, I would say the stars are aligned, for us to really build a win-win-win for Novare, win for Salesforce, which is the principal company, and win to our client with the API innovations,” he said.

Novare in a statement also said that with AI-driven insights, automation and customer-centric solutions, it aims to transform enterprise operations across the banking, telecommunications, retail and government sectors.
