Converge ICT Solutions has officially launched its new Super FiberX plans, marking the latest chapter in its ongoing mission to deliver industry-leading internet service to Filipino households.
The upgraded offerings are built around three pillars that internet users value most: speed, affordability, and reliability.
A major leap from the original FiberX
The FiberX SFX relaunch is more than just a rebrand—it represents a significant leap in performance and value for consumers. “Since FiberX relaunched in 2017, we’ve consistently raised the bar,” said Benjamin Azada, Converge EVP and Chief Commercial Officer. “Our hero FiberX 1500 Plus plan has accelerated from 35 Mbps to 400 Mbps—11 times faster—while dropping the cost per Mbps from ₱45 to less than ₱4. That’s almost 91% cheaper.”
Meeting the evolving needs of digital Filipinos
The new Super FiberX plans are designed to meet the evolving digital demands of Filipinos, including streaming, gaming, remote work, and online learning. “From the beginning, we’ve taken a close look at the industry landscape, listening closely to the needs and everyday challenges of the digital Filipino,” Azada said. “We identified the top three priorities of internet users: speed, affordability, and reliability—and we built SFX to deliver on all fronts.”
A network engineered for the future
“Our AI-powered network uses automation, predictive maintenance, and zero-touch operations to ensure faster, more reliable, and efficient connectivity,” Azada explained. “Converge now operates the country’s widest fiber-to-the-home network, reaching 15.9 million homes with over 670,000 kilometers of fiber.”
Industry recognition validates performance
These innovations continue to earn industry recognition. “In 2022, we earned our first Ookla Speedtest award,” Azada said. “In 2023, we achieved a clean sweep of the awards, and in 2024, we’re keeping that momentum.”
The FiberX SFX relaunch underscores Converge’s belief that digital access is a right, not a luxury. “When your foundation is built on what customers value, recognition becomes a reflection of the truth—not a surprise,” Azada said.
