Kaspersky continues to lead the cybersecurity industry, achieving a record-breaking 97% TOP3 finish rate in independent tests in 2024—securing the highest performance score among all competitors for the 12th consecutive year.
The TOP3 metric tracks how often a vendor ranks in the top three of independent cybersecurity tests within a calendar year. In 2024, Kaspersky participated in 95 tests, earning 91 first-place finishes and 92 total TOP3 placements. Since the metric began in 2013, Kaspersky has now surpassed the 1,000-test milestone with 871 TOP3 rankings—more than any other vendor.
Recognized by the industry’s most trusted testing labs
The TOP3 metric includes results from respected testing labs such as AV-Comparatives, AV-TEST, SE Labs, and others. It reflects a comprehensive evaluation of both consumer and business cybersecurity solutions.
In 2024, Kaspersky earned top accolades from multiple industry organizations. Its core consumer product, Kaspersky Standard, was named a “Top-Rated Product” by AV-Comparatives after strong performances in seven rigorous tests, including real-world protection, performance, malware protection, and advanced threat protection. Across these categories, it received a range of Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards.
Premium protection across platforms
Kaspersky Premium for Windows was named the top cybersecurity product in AV-Comparatives’ Anti-Phishing test, receiving first place for phishing detection with zero false positives and earning Anti-Phishing Certification.
Kaspersky Plus also stood out, receiving the Best Home Anti-Malware 2024 Award from SE Labs, in addition to the Best Protection and Best Usability Awards from AV-TEST for consumer users. It achieved a 100% defense rate in all SE Labs tests with no false positives.
Kaspersky Premium was awarded Best macOS Security by AV-TEST.
Enterprise-grade results
Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Business (KESB) achieved 100% protection against LSASS (Local Security Authority Subsystem Service) attacks in AV-Comparatives tests and received approval for process injection protection.
Kaspersky Endpoint Detection and Response Expert (KEDRE) earned a 100% cumulative Active Response rate and received the Strategic Leader title for the third year in a row.
In the business category, AV-TEST awarded Kaspersky Small Office Security (KSOS) and KESB with Best Protection, Best Advanced Protection, and Best Usability awards for corporate users.
KESB, KSOS, and Kaspersky Plus also achieved the highest Total Accuracy Ratings (TAR) in all four quarterly SE Labs tests in 2024, with perfect scores and zero false positives.
12 years at the top
