Global smartphone maker Honor Philippines has set a new benchmark in the local mobile market, selling over 10,000 units of its newly launched Honor 400 5G on its first day alone.
The strong turnout across malls nationwide reflected the device’s surging popularity as the company’s most advanced AI phone to date.

Long queues snaked through Honor Experience Stores in major shopping centers such as SM Mall of Asia, SM North Edsa, SM Seaside Cebu, and SM Baliwag, where eager customers lined up to claim their pre-ordered units on June 28.
“We are thrilled by the overwhelming response—over 10,000 units sold in just a single day is a record for us,” said Honor Philippines Vice President Stephen Cheng. “For months, the team worked tirelessly to bring Your AI Phone, the Honor 400 5G, to the Philippine market, and today’s milestone reflects all those efforts.”

Adding star power to the launch were Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados and actress Ashley Ortega, who joined fans during the first day celebration.
Priced at ₱22,999, the Honor 400 5G has been marketed as an “AI phone,” combining advanced mobile photography with powerful editing tools. It features a 200MP ultra-clear AI camera system, a 50MP portrait selfie camera, and Google-powered AI editing that can transform photos into videos.
The device also boasts a 6000mAh silicon-carbon battery that maintains over 80% capacity even after four years, and 80W wired fast charging that powers it up to 40% in just 15 minutes.
Customers who pre-ordered received exclusive freebies worth nearly ₱9,400 and had the chance to win prizes including a Rolex GMT Master II and a Hermès Lindy Mini bag.
Honor said the Honor 400 5G will remain available in all Honor Experience Stores, partner retailers, and online platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop, with installment options starting at ₱979 per month through Home Credit.
