Shell Pilipinas Corporation has named the top three tech startup finalists for Shell LiveWire 2025, its flagship enterprise development program aimed at empowering high-impact Filipino innovations.
Following a competitive pitch event in June, the finalists were chosen for their solutions addressing key challenges in agriculture, fuel efficiency, and sustainability.
Top finalists named
The three selected startups are:
Agridom (SF Group of Companies Inc.) – Offers drone-powered precision farming tools that help improve yield and sustainability for smallholder farmers.
Greentech Ecobooster – A fuel optimization device that enhances engine performance while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.
Pili AdheSeal Inc. – Converts agricultural waste into eco-friendly adhesive and sealant products, promoting circular economy practices.
Support and funding opportunities
The finalists will undergo Shell LiveWire’s acceleration phase, receiving mentorship, financial support, and business development guidance. The first-place winner will receive P1 million in equity-free cash, while the two runners-up will receive P500,000 each.
Wider program participation
Shell LiveWire 2025 also includes 51 community enterprises from across the Philippines, each receiving grant or in-kind support. A special A-Lister citation was awarded to Nascent Technologies Corp., recognizing its early-stage innovation potential.
Ecosystem impact
Shell appointed PwC as the official auditor for transparency. The program aligns with the growing Philippine startup ecosystem, which nearly doubled in value from $3.5 billion in 2023 to $6.4 billion in 2024.
The Shell LiveWire 2025 finale will be held this September at the Echelon Event.
