Huawei to launch MatePad 11.5 with PC-like power and PaperMatte display

Huawei MatePad 11.5

Huawei is set to introduce the MatePad 11.5 (2025) in the Philippines, a tablet built to merge PC-level performance with a natural PaperMatte display for paper-like writing and an eye-friendly viewing experience.

Lightweight yet powerful, the device promises to be an all-in-one companion for productivity, creativity, and entertainment.

PC-like performance for everyday productivity

The MatePad 11.5 (2025) is designed to deliver a seamless computing experience with PC-level WPS Office apps, enabling users to create spreadsheets, presentations, and documents without the limitations of standard tablet software. Paired with the detachable Huawei Smart Keyboard, it supports multiple modes and smooth typing with laptop-like functionality.

Enhanced multitasking is made possible through the improved Floating Multi-Window feature, which allows users to run three resizable windows simultaneously on its immersive 11.5-inch screen.

PaperMatte display for natural, eye-friendly use

At the heart of the new MatePad is Huawei’s PaperMatte display, engineered with nano-level etching and optical coating technology to reduce glare and reflections. It mimics the texture of real paper, making writing and sketching feel more natural with the Huawei M-Pencil (3rd Generation).

The display is also certified for eye protection, boasting TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certifications, along with SGS Low Visual Fatigue Premium Performance 2.0. With a resolution of 2456 x 1600 and 600-nit peak brightness, it balances sharp visuals with comfort for long hours of use.

Portability meets power

Encased in a slim 6.1mm all-metal unibody and weighing just 515g, the MatePad 11.5 (2025) combines portability with durability. Its 10,100mAh battery delivers up to 14 hours of local video playback, while 40W Huawei SuperCharge ensures quick top-ups—just 30 minutes of charging offers hours of use.

Pro-level creativity with GoPaint

The tablet also debuts GoPaint, Huawei’s exclusive painting app that transforms the device into a digital canvas for professionals and hobbyists alike. Featuring a wide range of brushes and realistic textures, the app enhances the creative experience when paired with the M-Pencil.

Early bird offers in the Philippines

Customers can reserve the MatePad 11.5 (2025) with a PHP 500 deposit via the Huawei Online Store from August 18 to 28, and enjoy PHP 1,500 off when settling the balance between August 29 and September 30.
