Communications professional Joseph Lawrence “JL” Daez is joining Ford Philippines as Communications Manager starting September 22, 2025.
JL has over 15 years of experience, including more than a decade in branding, communications strategy, and campaign execution. He has a proven track record in building impactful brands and leading multimillion-peso campaigns across advertising, public relations, and marketing.
Broad experience across industries
Prior to joining Ford, JL served as Account Director at EON The Stakeholder Relations Group, where he led strategic communications initiatives for major accounts in the automotive, healthcare, consumer technology, and energy sectors. His work focused on stakeholder engagement, media relations, and integrated campaigns.
Among his achievements are successfully directing high-impact campaigns for notable clients such as Nissan, Unilab, and Shell. These efforts strengthened brand reputation, supported product launches, and enhanced engagement among internal and external stakeholders.
Strengthening Ford’s communications leadership
Before his stint at EON, JL was Marketing Communications Manager at Peugeot Philippines, where he developed and implemented 360-degree communications strategies. He managed social media, press relations, influencer marketing, and partnerships that boosted the brand’s local visibility and consumer engagement.
JL will report to EJ Francisco, Communications Director, Ford Philippines and Asia Pacific Distributor Markets (APDM). He will also collaborate closely with Ogilvy Philippines, Ford’s integrated marketing communications agency-on-record, to drive cohesive storytelling and enhance the company’s public presence.
