Casio has officially named Lyric, the country’s largest musical instrument retail chain, as its exclusive distributor for digital pianos and keyboards in the Philippines.
This collaboration unites two industry leaders in a shared mission to make cutting-edge music technology and professional-grade instruments more accessible to Filipino musicians, educators, and hobbyists.
Under this agreement, Casio’s celebrated piano lines—including the Celviano, Privia, and Casiotone series—will be available through Lyric’s 24 retail stores, nationwide dealer network, and its online platform at www.lyric.ph.
A new era of innovation and accessibility
“This partnership is a great milestone for us,” said Zorobabel Sayson, General Manager of Lyric. “Casio has always offered unique products that address a wide range of musical needs. With our extensive retail footprint, we’re confident that this collaboration will reach more Filipino musicians nationwide.”
The exclusive distribution ensures that Casio’s signature sound and advanced technology are backed by Lyric’s comprehensive after-sales service, technical support, and local availability.

Casio’s legacy of sound and innovation
Known for blending artistry and engineering, Casio continues to push the limits of digital music creation. Its Celviano Grand Hybrid series, developed with legendary piano maker C. Bechstein, delivers the authentic touch and tone of an acoustic grand piano, enhanced by digital sound processing.
Meanwhile, the Privia line redefines performance and portability with Bluetooth connectivity, hammer-action keys, and studio-quality sound—all packed into a sleek, lightweight frame.
For beginners and casual players, the Casiotone and CDP series combine expressive dynamics and intuitive features such as pitch-bend wheels, built-in rhythms, and included stands.
“Casio is among the world’s top brands for digital pianos,” added Sayson. “Now is the perfect time to strengthen its presence in the Philippines with Lyric as its partner.”
Shared vision for Filipino musicians
Lyric President and CEO Alma Joy Cristobal emphasized the alignment between the two brands: “Lyric and Casio share the same commitment to innovation and musical empowerment. Casio’s focus on advanced technology helps nurture Filipino talent and elevate musical expression.”
Cristobal also underscored Lyric’s community outreach: “We’ve always supported Filipino musicians by providing free instruments and equipment during events, especially in areas with limited resources. With Casio’s Grand Hybrid piano, we can now bring the grand piano experience anywhere.”

Available now nationwide
Starting this quarter, Casio digital pianos and keyboards will be available for demo and purchase at all Lyric branches and online.
Customers can explore hands-on experiences, attend workshops, and discover the perfect instrument for their musical journey.
“Musicians and enthusiasts can now purchase Casio’s latest models from any of our 24 stores nationwide,” Cristobal said. “Everyone is welcome to experience Casio’s exceptional sound firsthand.”

Championing Filipino artistry
To highlight Casio’s versatility, Lyric has begun collaborating with Filipino artists such as Kai Honasan, a classically trained pianist and indie folk-pop performer. “We’re excited to partner with artists who represent the heart of Filipino music,” Cristobal shared. “This is just the beginning—more ambassadors are coming soon.”
Shaping the future of music technology
Beyond distribution, the partnership aims to inspire a new generation of musicians through innovation, accessibility, and education.
“Casio’s music business continues to evolve with digital technologies related to sound,” Cristobal concluded. “Together, we envision a future where technology-driven instruments empower every Filipino to create and perform with confidence.”
