Converge officially launched its FiberX Student League Ambassador Program at the DimensionX Media event in Makati City on October 10, 2025. This new initiative aims to empower 100 student leaders across the Philippines, with 10 standout students becoming the inaugural FiberX Student League Ambassadors.
The ambassadors are positioned to lead digital innovation and promote technological excellence among youth in gaming and student tech communities.
Converge senior VP JP Aguilar emphasized the program’s goal to cultivate young innovators who can create tangible impact in their schools and communities through technology.
Alongside the program launch, Converge unveiled Battlestation Raid, a five-episode digital series where popular gaming influencers surprise deserving students with upgraded gaming and study setups powered by Converge’s fiber internet. This series extends the ambassadors’ mission, inspiring students to excel both academically and in gaming.
Vice President and Head of Brand and Marketing Orange Ramirez highlighted that the program nurtures the next generation of creators by connecting them with digital experiences and opportunities, fueling passion and excellence.
Selected ambassadors receive exclusive perks, including limited-edition merchandise, access to both online and offline Converge activations, and unique rewards. Five ambassadors will receive upgraded gaming battlestations, while another five will attend the Thailand Game Show 2025 on an all-expense-paid trip.
Marketing Head Sandra Zira called the FiberX Student League “a movement” to provide youth with platforms to lead and innovate in the digital era, marking ambassadors as the future of Philippine gaming and technology.
The launch also emphasized Converge’s ongoing partnerships with the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE), collaborating on events like the Philippine Collegiate Championship and Next Gen Program to advance student gamers’ growth.
