Philippine Design Fest 2025 spotlights Filipino creativity and innovation

Philippine Design Fest 2025

Philippine Design Fest 2025 highlights the power of design

Philippine Design Fest 2025 brings together the country’s leading creatives, technologists, and entrepreneurs to champion how design drives culture, business, and innovation. The event aims to strengthen the local creative economy by showcasing Filipino talent and fostering collaboration across industries.

Organized by the Filipino Graphic Designers (FGD) community in partnership with the Printing Industry Board Foundation, Inc., the festival will be held on November 14 and 15 at the Philippine Training Trade Center in Pasay City. It marks a significant milestone for FGD, which has grown from a small online hub in 2021 into a thriving national network of professionals shaping the future of graphic design.

Building momentum through pre-festival events

This year’s edition builds on a strong series of pre-event activities that began with DEV-IGN on August 9, 2025. Co-hosted with the Filipino Web Development Peers (FWDP), the program featured talks, skill-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities that spotlighted the growing synergy between designers and developers—an essential shift in today’s digital economy.

Two more events—Pitch Please! on September 13 and Design Drift: The Ultimate Web Design Showdown on October 11—fueled the excitement. More than 150 designers, developers, freelancers, and business owners took part, reflecting the community’s growing appetite for collaboration, digital innovation, and creative entrepreneurship.

Creating pathways for talent and business

Throughout the two-day festival, attendees can join workshops, competitions, showcases, and networking sessions designed to elevate skills, spark partnerships, and open new opportunities in both creative and commercial spaces. The event also underscores the importance of design thinking, digital transformation, and entrepreneurship in shaping the Philippines’ creative future.

“We’re not just attending a fest. We’re designing our future,” said Nabbe Francisco, FGD Founder and Event Lead. “This is about giving Filipino creatives the tools, confidence, and community they need to thrive, uplift the visual arts, and become leaders in the industry.”

Strong industry support

The festival is backed by a roster of partners and sponsors, including Cebu Pacific as Official Airline Partner, TTRacing as Official Seat and Lounge Partner, The Company Philippines as Official Co-Working Space Partner, and Gibu Agency as Multimedia Services Partner. DM&A Co. leads Public Relations, alongside DesignPlus powered by HP Indigo, Bezel, and Beedazle PH as official sponsors. Media partners include WhenInManila.com, Manila Bulletin, MYX, and Nen Digital.

Pre-event series partners such as ZenithPads, YSpaces, Aspect Collective, MNL Cocktail Club, Quick Sip Coffee, X+Y Coffee, The Photobox, and The Blokcspac helped build early momentum for this year’s celebration.
