JT’s Manukan Grille announced the international launch of “JT’s Meals for the Kids,” a two-year global feeding initiative created in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) through its ShareTheMeal platform.
This multi-country campaign transforms every Chicken Inasal meal purchased at JT’s branches in the Philippines, Singapore, and Dubai into direct nutritional support for Filipino schoolchildren in need.
Who is involved
The program is led by JT’s Manukan Grille founder Joel Torre in collaboration with WFP, with operational support from all JT’s store locations worldwide.
What the program does
A small built-in contribution from every Chicken Inasal meal will help WFP’s efforts in supporting the Philippine government in providing nutritious school meals to Filipino children, building long-term resilience by empowering local farmers, and strengthening community food systems.
Where the program is active
The campaign runs simultaneously across JT’s branches in the Philippines, Singapore, and Dubai, with international customers collectively contributing to a shared impact.
When the initiative runs
The project launched on December 1, 2025, in time for the extended Christmas season celebrated by Filipinos worldwide, and will continue through December 2027.
Why this matters
Too many Filipino children attend school without proper nutrition—affecting learning, health, and long-term opportunities. By integrating micro-donations into everyday operations, JT’s makes it effortless for diners to help keep students nourished in school.

The global fundraising goal
Over two years, JT’s aims to raise US$220,000 worldwide, with the Philippines projected to contribute approximately 60%, Singapore 20%, and Dubai 20% of the total. These contributions collectively ensure that every meal served supports a child’s future.
“As a brand built on family, nourishment, and shared moments, we believe food can also be a force for change,” said Joel Torre. “Every inasal enjoyed in any of our branches becomes part of a child’s path to a healthier and more hopeful tomorrow.”
