A-FLOW, a joint venture between AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. (ALLHC) and FLOW Digital Infrastructure, has officially launched ML1, its first data center in the Philippines, marking a major step in strengthening the country’s digital infrastructure.
Located in Laguna, about 35 kilometers south of Metro Manila, ML1 extends the region’s growing data center cluster as demand accelerates for secure, scalable and resilient infrastructure amid rising cloud and AI adoption.
ML1 is the first building in a planned three-facility greenfield campus with a total capacity of 36MW. Its initial phase delivers a 6MW IT load, designed to support enterprise, colocation and cloud service provider requirements.
The facility is positioned to meet increasing needs for low-latency, high-performance digital services across the Philippines and Southeast Asia.

At the launch ceremony, A-FLOW President Sanjay Goel said ML1 underscores the company’s commitment to supporting digital transformation and positioning the Philippines as a regional hub for data connectivity and management.
He described data centers such as ML1 as catalysts for digital innovation, helping give the country a competitive edge globally. Goel also emphasized the role of collaboration across design, architecture, project management and engineering partners in delivering the facility.
ML1’s Laguna location offers key advantages, including a lower risk of geological hazards and flooding. The data center is designed for flexibility, allowing customers to scale and customize deployments as needs evolve.
As a carrier-neutral facility, ML1 provides robust connectivity through multiple points of entry that enable route redundancy and enhanced network resilience. Built to international design standards, it incorporates multiple layers of security and mission-critical reliability.
Local and regional leaders highlighted the project’s broader economic impact. Biñan City Mayor Angelo Alonte called the launch a transformative moment for the city, signaling a new era of digital innovation and growth.
Laguna Governor’s Chief of Staff Jerry Pelayo noted the province’s capable workforce and readiness for major investments. Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Ma. Cristina Roque described A-FLOW as a partnership shaping an ecosystem that positions the Philippines strongly in the global digital economy.
The launch comes as Southeast Asia’s data center market experiences rapid expansion, with demand projected to triple from 2023 to 2030.
The Philippine data center market alone is forecast to grow at a 20.9 percent compound annual rate from 2024 to 2030, driven by rising internet penetration, cloud adoption and enterprise demand.
With ML1 now operational, A-FLOW aims to support large-scale digital transformation, enhance regional connectivity, and reinforce the Philippines’ role as a competitive digital hub in an increasingly AI-driven economy.
