1. Date & Location – The Canon PhotoMarathon 2026 is scheduled for April 18, 2026, at the BGC Amphitheater in Taguig City, continuing one of the country’s longest-running photography competitions.
2. 19th Year in the Philippines – This year marks the 19th edition of PhotoMarathon in the Philippines, part of a regional creative event that began in Singapore and has grown into a major photographic challenge across Asia.
3. Open to All Creators – The 2026 event welcomes professionals, hybrid creators, students, camera club members, and photography enthusiasts. Notably, several categories are open to non-Canon users, making it more inclusive than before.
4. New Video Category Added – For the first time, Canon PhotoMarathon includes a Video Category, encouraging participants to tell stories through motion and sound in addition to still photography.
5. Prizes & Registration – Participants can win major Canon gear like the EOS R6 Mark III, EOS R8, and video-centered cameras. Registration is done through the Canon PH Delightful app, available on both Google Play and Apple App Store.
