VinFast Philippines is strengthening its after-sales support infrastructure through a strategic partnership with global logistics provider DHL, aimed at ensuring faster delivery and reliable availability of genuine spare parts for electric vehicle customers across the country.
Dedicated warehouse supports growing EV presence
During a facility briefing, Ernesto Cabrera, logistics manager of VinFast Philippines, and Luela Villanueva, DHL site manager overseeing VinFast operations, outlined how the dedicated warehouse underpins the brand’s expanding footprint in the local market.
The facility spans approximately 3,200 square meters and is reserved exclusively for spare parts storage and fulfillment. It is designed to handle a wide range of components through specialized storage systems that improve efficiency, accuracy, and readiness.
Small components are arranged in organized racking systems for quick retrieval, while larger parts are stored in bulk areas suited for heavier inventory. A separate temperature-controlled and air-conditioned section is allocated for EV batteries to preserve optimal operating conditions and maintain product integrity—an essential factor in long-term vehicle reliability.
Faster delivery and regional supply alignment
Beyond the Philippines, DHL also manages stacking and storage of VinFast components in Vietnam, helping align regional logistics operations and maintain a consistent cross-market supply chain.
DHL is targeting delivery of VinFast spare parts within 24 hours in selected areas. Distribution timelines in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao are still being refined as the network expands, but both companies emphasized that the partnership is focused on minimizing customer concerns related to parts availability and strengthening overall ownership confidence.
Cabrera noted that current inventory levels are substantial enough to assemble an entire vehicle if necessary, underscoring VinFast’s readiness as it scales operations in the country’s emerging electric mobility landscape.
After-sales reliability as a driver of EV adoption
As VinFast grows its presence in the Philippine EV market, the collaboration with DHL highlights a broader strategy: pairing vehicle innovation with dependable after-sales service. Reliable logistics, consistent parts supply, and responsive service infrastructure remain critical in accelerating consumer trust and mainstream adoption of electric vehicles nationwide.
